Kimbolton Fireworks were the first UK
company to introduce Category 3 firework training courses.
For many years now, we have been providing these one day "not-for-profit"
courses to help promote safe firework use and provide an introduction
to the safe handling, preparation and firing of a display.
With a particular emphasis on safety
these days at public displays, the couse can provide a useful
starting point when planning your display.
The course explains some of the rather
bewildering terminology used in fireworks as well as descriptions
of the firework effects and types. The course also provides
a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations involved at some
of the largest firework events and use of the new digital
firing technology.
The afternoon concludes with a brief
practical demonstration of some of the firework types (weather
permitting).
